Picture a secluded nine mile lake located on the south-west corner of the Adirondack State Park just 20 miles northeast of Utica, New York. On the edge of the lake there is but one children’s camp nestled in the pines covering over 40 acres of land originally built as an Adirondack hunting club in the early 1900s. An abundance of clean fresh mountain air and water allows campers to experience their summer activities in comfort, away from the humidity and heat of the eastern seaboard. Camp Northwood combines the tradition of classic summer camping, with up to date facilities that insure comfort and safety for all of our campers. There is no doubt in our minds that the serenity of our camp setting is a contributing factor to the success of our campers!!!
